I have no intention of explaining how the following correspondence fell into my hands. Readers of C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters will likely be among the first to grasp the purpose of this correspondence. But whatever lens you choose to view the diabolically Machiavellian letter, offers an unsettling perspective on the true winners and losers of modern day race-based politics - and breaks the cycle of tired cliches and rebuttals used by both sides of the debate
randson:
Doubtless you are surprised to receive a letter from a man whose funeral you attended but a month ago (and whose title you now hold). Do not think for a minute that the dead can return to the world of the living. As time passed by, these practices became less and less acceptable, even in White company. We can no longer rely on good White judges, jurors of police officers to turn a blind eye to our public campaign against the coloreds. The Executive Council (your predecessors) met 40 years ago to tackle the vexing question: where should the modern Klan direct its efforts?
