Quick Hits. Updates.
Quick hits:

  • Last week's trip to Boulder CO was ... eventful. More to follow. :)

  • Welsh Corgis who love Peanut Butter, from Cute Overload:

  • Will be attending the Napkin Business Challenge - Bay Area entrepreneurs looking to mingle with other like-minded souls and potential investors should RSVP. :D

  • Been looking forward to seeing "300" since I read the graphic novel last year, and finally caught it with [info]owyn. SPARTANS, WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION?

  • Met and recorded a 20-minute interview with The Asian Playboy when he was out in San Francisco for one of his Boot-Camp instructional tours. Fascinating conversation which I have to transfer to MP3 and upload. Soon, soon.

As you were.

I'm largely convinced you don't actually have a job, but rather walk the land in search of adventure and fortune.

Hm. The napkin thing sounds interesting on the face of things, but after discovering that it's a "Women 2.0" event, I will not be in attendance. I remain firm in my conviction that the only difference between a female entrepreneur and a male entrepreneur is that the female entrepreneur bleeds for a week out of every month, and I make it a point not to patronise events which enshrine any sort of purported gender difference. My company doesn't need a restricted playing field to succeed.

Speaking of which, business is going well -- investors like working demos. :)

Yo bro-ski,

It was a pleasure meeting up with you. Loved your satire screenplay on the entire WM/AF dynamic, though I think you should make a presequel that's all about the rise of your "Wizard of Oz" character starring... me! :-)

Anyways, let me know when you put up the podcast as I'm excited to hear it (I've only done one other before). Pjammer has now been Blog-Rolled.

Best of luck,

I was so disappointed after seeing 300 (this past Thursday). Somewhere, between the previews and overhearing snippets of conversations at work, I got the impression that this was going to be an historical account of how 300 Spartans defeated a million Persians. Because, I mean, that would be almost impossible, right? So I sat there like a fool, munching Bottle Caps and Smarties and wondering, Gee, that there's a buttload of Persians. How the heck are they gonna pull this off?
